I don’t care if you're the epitome of a cool band like Television or a band that wears shorts on stage like Bowling for Soup: if you’re going to make a song 10 minutes long, the majority of it better not consist of self-indulgent guitar soloing. What’s really unfortunate is that this song is so good for a while—it’s angular, funky, layered, and most of all, original. Up to a point. Oh well.
